Alex spent his childhood on the far side of the United States in Orlando, Florida as the youngest of 6 siblings. Alex learned leadership and team skills as the captain of his high school rowing team. The skills he learned on the team would culminate in a strong work ethic that would propel him to Harvard University where he studied economics and rowed on the varsity lightweight rowing team.
After graduating from Harvard, Alex worked in finance but his inner entrepreneur pushed him to launch a startup: SmileMail.
Alex escapes the daily grind through surfing, golfing, and running along the Santa Monica boardwalk.
